Review Text: Saratoga is blessed with many fine restaurants and Maestro's is arguably the best of them all. John Laposta is a wonderful host and now that he's added Dominic Calose to his kitchen new and exciting entrees are offered. For example, last night I was served an outstanding on the bone pork dish that was succulent, moist, and just plain amazing. It was served with saussage, fingerling potatoes,and sauerkraut. It all really worked well together. Other entrees included the Seafood Cassolette, and the Veal Tenderloin both of which were excellent. Excellent doesn't really say enough. The prepartion, presentaion and quality of the ingrediants sets Maestro's apart from most other establishments. I'd be remiss not to mention John's famous crabcakes. If you're a fan of crabcakes, you'll recognize these as world class. Also, the pumpkin ravioli was hugh success. Lastly, John offers many special deals to his customers. He extends the restaurant week menu long after the event every year, and is currently offering half priced wines (any bottle on the winelist). Who else does this? No one. We'll continue to spread the word, and will be back soon.
